I'm Billy, the passionate home baker, wife, and mother behind this cozy corner of the internet. Whole wheat and sourdough baking isn't just a hobby for me; it's my heart and soul poured into every decadent bread and treat, for the joy and nourishment of my family.  My journey with baking began fourteen years ago with all sorts of breads and sourdough, but in the last year I have taken the step to baking exclusively with fresh home milled whole wheat flour and often with sourdough.  

 

As a brief introduction, I am a small business owner of a professional photography company. As a wife and mother of three, I spent half of my week chauffeuring my children from place to place and the other half of my week watching my athletes practice and compete. Despite the math insisting that one half and one half add up to an entire week, I squeeze in church, work, family night, and a lot of baking! Wheat Berries & Butter is a passion, and a second small business that brings me a lot of joy. I love sharing my excitement about the nutrition in sourdough and fresh milled flour.
